By downloading or using the SlimMark app (the "App"), developed by heicarbook ("we" or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
1. Medical Disclaimer (Crucial)
SlimMark is a tracking tool, NOT a medical device.
- Purpose: The App is designed to help users log data related to GLP-1 medications (e.g., Semaglutide, Tirzepatide) and body weight management.
- No Medical Advice: The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Features such as "Suggested Injection Site" are based on simple rotation logic algorithms and do not constitute clinical recommendations.
- Consult Professionals: Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional regarding your medication dosage, side effects, and diet. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have viewed on this App.
2. Use of the App
- License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to use the App for any illegal purpose, including but not limited to the unlawful trading, distribution, or promotion of prescription medications.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
SlimMark offers a "Free" tier and a "Pro" (VIP) tier.
- Pro Features: Purchasing a subscription unlocks access to full historical data (records older than 30 days), advanced charting, and net cost analysis tools.
- Billing: Payments are charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Free Trial: We may offer a 7-day free trial. If not canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged the subscription fee.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your iOS Account Settings.
- Management: Subscription management and cancellations are handled exclusively via the Apple App Store. We cannot issue refunds directly; all refund requests must be directed to Apple Support.
4. Data Loss and Liability
- Local Data Warning: SlimMark stores your data locally on your device. We do not have a cloud backup of your data. Deleting the App will permanently delete your data.
- Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, heicarbook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, or health complications resulting from incorrect data entry or dosage logging.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and graphics in the App are the property of heicarbook and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which heicarbook is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
