heicarbook ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our mobile application, SlimMark (the "App").
1. Our Core Privacy Philosophy: Local-First
Your health data belongs to you.
SlimMark is designed as a "Local-First" application. This means:
- No Backend Server: We do not operate a backend server to store your personal health records.
- Local Storage: All data you input (weight, injection logs, photos) is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData technology.
- Data Sovereignty: We (heicarbook) cannot access, read, or export your personal health data.
2. Information We Collect and How We Use It
A. User-Provided Data (Stored Locally)
You may input the following data into the App:
- Health Data: Weight records, injection dosages, injection sites, and appetite levels.
- Inventory Data: Medication stock levels and purchase history.
- Notes: Personal notes regarding your treatment.
Usage: This data is used solely to display your progress charts, manage inventory, and provide history logs within the App. This data remains on your device.
B. Device Permissions
- Camera & Photo Library (Vision Framework): We use Apple's Vision Framework to perform Optical Character Recognition (OCR) on screenshots or photos of receipts. This helps you log purchase details automatically. This processing happens entirely on-device; images are not uploaded to any server.
- Calendar (EventKit): We request access to your iOS Calendar to create injection reminders. We only write reminders that you explicitly configure. We do not read, collect, or upload your other calendar events.
C. Subscription & Purchase Information
We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions (e.g., SlimMark Pro).
- Transactions: All financial transactions are processed by Apple (iTunes Store). We do not have access to your credit card information or billing address.
- Subscription Status: RevenueCat processes an anonymous App User ID to validate your subscription status (e.g., to unlock VIP features).
D. Analytics and Diagnostics
We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (e.g., "App launched," "Screen viewed") and crash reports to improve app stability. This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally or view your health records.
3. Data Storage and Backups
- Local Storage: Your data is stored in the sandbox environment of your iOS device.
- iCloud Backups: If you have enabled iCloud Backup for your device, your SlimMark data will be included in your personal iCloud backup. This is managed by Apple; we cannot access these backups.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal data to outside parties.
Share Cards: The App allows you to generate an image ("Share Card") of your progress. If you choose to share this image to social media or third parties, you do so voluntarily. The App provides options to hide sensitive information (such as drug names) before generating the image.
5. Children’s Privacy
SlimMark is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be notified by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
